My Son's Off And Running

Hello Everyone,I went to my son's last high school football game of the season. He's one of the captins of his team, the 2nd in the state for wide receivers, and caught two toughdown passes last night that brought us close to winning the game. Even though they lost by one touchdown, they played a good, exciting game. Even the news casters on channel 9 said there was something special about him and it's true. Watching him play ball from my end is like when Mary watched Jesus turn water into wine. Everyone else was suprised and in awe, but Mary she knew in his heart that Jesus was capable of that and so much more. It didn't suprise her. She knew he could do it and I'm the same way with my son.One thing that hurts my heart about him is that he's growing up. He'll be graduating from high school soon and never before did I acknowledge that I'm scared of losing him to his own grown up life. His success makes me feel that he doesn't need me that much anymore. The littl.....
