Something I'm Proud About

     Dear friends, there are blessings to be found in the stangest of places if we only look.  You see, I would not wish a traumatic brain injury on anyone, but there are some gifts that have come about as a result of mine.  Prior to the head injury at age nine (fourth grade), I wa already reading years beyound my age, so some of the gifts may not be related to the injury in the complete sense.  But the poetry which has been borne out in my life, much of which is very dark and sullen, seems to have much to do with the resulting years of depression.  A romantic poem was posted, but most deal with topics I will not post on this site out of respect for the feelings we have we go through far too often.  Mind you, many of my best works which go on spiritual forms have been written after asking God to Guide my hand.  In these cases, God is given credit in liner notes.  To give you an idea as to the range of writing, the works include .....
