Only a coastal guy would anticipate a big storm,Oregonians love bad weather,this one arrives from the Aleutians ,bringing 45-60 MPH wind,with gusts over 90 Mph,the USCG,closed the beaches again,25 foot waves,It should rain about 1/2 inches an hour,hopefully some lightning. You know how to spot Californians in rain?they use umbrellas ,Oregonians can be a perverse lot,rather,near drown,and act like it's OK outside,the wind usually kills umbrellas anyway. If you let the weather keep you home,you will not do anything.I had better cook something before the power goes out,it will.
