I was adopted into an amazing family at just a few weeks old. My birth mom was addicted to crack while pregnant with me & I was taken from her. There was a period of my life that I felt abandoned, given up, stolen away... but as the years have progressed the more & more thankful & blessed I become in the adventure I've had with the family who has loved & raised me. My mother was unable to have children of her own, yet in their middle aged romance my parents felt an incredible hole in their relationship - that of a child. Adopting a child is costly, emotionally tiring & tolling on a marriage, but they pushed forward through all the red tape & eventually through out the years ended up with me. I have probably been the best & worst thing that has ever happened to them, but I know for a fact their unconditional love & dedication to my sister & I.I remember starting to pray for a sibling at the age of 4. We lived in a 4 story, brick, house tha.....
