Summary: If you need to send a screenshot to our technical support department, here are the steps:

1) Microsoft Windows User

  • Press the combination of the Alt and PrintScreen keys ([Alt] and [PrtScrn]) to capture the current active window.
  • Open your Email program, create a new message and paste the captured screenshot into the body of your email message by cicking Edit, Paste or Right Mouse Click, Paste.
  • Note: If your email program doesn't support HTML or is text only, then you can open Microsoft Paint and paste the image into it, then Save the file to a .jpg or .gif file.
  • Note: Youcan alternatively press the PrintScreen or [PrtScrn] key captures the entire desktop area.

2) Mac OS X

  • Pressing Command-Shift-4 takes a screenshot of a chosen are of the screen.
  • Pressing Commnad-Shift-3 takes a screenshot of the entire screen.
